Our purpose is:
"For the public benefit, to promote the musical education of people up to and including the age of 24 years, in the West Midlands and the South West of England, in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by awarding to such persons grants tenable at any institution of education".
Our geographical coverage is at the discretion of the Trustees, but we primarily cover the West Midlands (Birmingham, Worcestershire and Herefordshire) and the South West of England (Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Bristol).

About the Martin Schellenberg Music Trust
The Martin Schellenberg Music Trust has been created to honour the life and legacy of Martin Schellenberg (1959-2021) an inspirational and much loved teacher, choirmaster and organist.
The trust offers financial support towards the education of talented young musicians in voice, piano or organ in the areas of Birmingham, Worcestershire and the South West of England.

The Trustee’s of TMSMT would be interested to hear from young people (their parents or teachers) who would like to be considered for financial help towards their musical education.

The Trustees would also be interested in sponsoring Choral workshops and concert platform experiences.
